Addison & Santa 2011

Addison is so excited about Christmas this year. She also loves Santa and was so excited to get her picture made with him. She would reach for him in line and tell me she was going to sit on his lap and smile for the camera. She also waited in line for 20 minutes with no problems, but as soon as it was our turn she decided it wasn't what she wanted to do. Mommy wanted a Santa picture even if she was screaming because those are so cute too. Our Santa picture didn't come out with Addison smiling or screaming her head off instead she just looks painfully terrified. :)

Christmas Card or Cards

I was crazy this year and ended up with two Christmas cards. I wasn't planning on it. I almost didn't do one at all because I really didn't have a professional family picture or Christmas picture of Addison to put on one. I decided to take some myself and see if they would turn out. I got some cute ones. I played around and ended up making two cards, then I couldn't decide on which one to use. Ryan liked them both to. So I just decided I would send the 1st one to people that see Addison more often or see her pictures on this blog or facebook. The second one I sent to people that don't see her as often. :)

Piece of Cake Daddy....I can do your job without a Law Degree!! :)

It's Beginning to Look A lot like Christmas

Decorating the tree........or trees

Mommy loves Christmas. She put up 3 trees this year. Addison was a big help.
Everyday she loves to help turn them all on.

Thanksgiving at the Ranch 2011

Every year we spend Thanksgiving week at Ryan's family ranch. Last year Addison couldn't walk so it wasn't as much fun. This year she loved it. She wanted to be outside the whole time.

She loved riding on the Rangers.
She thought she was just as big as her big cousins.

Thanksgiving Lunch

Sweet Cousins....Addison got to live with her twin cousins for the week. She loved it.

Mother's Day Out -Fall 2011

Addison started going to Mother's Day Out one day a week for a couple of hours in September. It was for me to get some grocery shopping and errands done but really to left Addison play with other kids. She loves playing with other kids!! She adjusted so well. I thought she would cry seperating from me. The first two weeks she cried when I dropped her off (the teachers said she was fine after I left). After that she went right in and talks non stop about school.

Notice my kid is the only one without her hat on!
All the moms are still amazed that the teachers can get 7 one year olds to lay down and take a nap at the same time.

Ryan and I are amazed how much she learns and remembers from school.
Lunch time
Sweet girl sleeping!
