Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving lunch with my Mom's family and dinner with my Dad's family. We stopped by to visit Uncle Elizar and Aunt Robin in the afternoon. (They didn't get to go to the ranch because of their new babies.)

Here is Addison with her Great-Mamaw and her second cousins.

Ranch--Part 2

This picture was taken at the ranch in 2009. I was pregnant with Addison.

At the Ranch

Every year we travel to Ryan's family's ranch near Brownwood, Texas to celebrate Thanksgiving. This year we stayed the for a week but came home in time to celebrate with my family too. It was Addison's first trip to the ranch and she had a great time. The men hunt and work outside. The women cook, talk, and shop a little in town, and the kids love playing outside.

Riding the mule. She loved riding on the mule and letting the wind blow in her face. Addison loved playing with her bigger cousins. She thought she was a big kid and could hang with them.
Got to tired on this ride with Daddy and Jet.
Daddy thought it was funny that she was trying to eat grass and took pictures.

Said Da-Da!

Addison said Da-Da for the first time on Sunday or at least the first time we were for sure she was saying Da-Da. She has been jabbering ever since.

Play date with Brady

Addison had a play date with Brady today. They really weren't into playing with each other but we know in time that will change. Addison enjoyed playing with all of Brady's toys and watching Brady walk around. Addison wanted to walk like Brady. It was pretty difficult to get them to sit still enough to take a picture together.

Addison Dancing

Addison is crawling and pulling up everywhere. When I go to get her out of bed she is standing and ready to go. She loves her Fisher Price music table and pulls herself up to play at it. Her newest thing is dancing. Every time she hears music, she starts to dance. I captured this video on my I-phone of her dancing.

8 Months Old

Happy 8 Months to my sweet girl. The time is going by to fast.

Trick or Treat

Addison had a pretty low key first Halloween. We went with Daddy on Friday night to pass out candy at his NTYP booth at the Fright Fest. She was not for sure what to think about all the people dressed up and the loud music. On Sunday night, she helped Mommy pass out candy to her neighborhood friends. She loved watching them and I am sure next year she will want to follow along.
